| | If I store all my point data files on a file server, what prevents a disgruntled employee from deleting all the files on my file server? (besides backups) Thanks Jay |

| Another good reason for PDS i think. Assuming you have ntfs permisions you can at least make sure users cannot delete them( this does some what inhibit points move files functionality). Also with the proper processes you can limit the number of files a given user has access too.

| Your best solution is nightly backups. buy an external drive and copy over the relevant directories at the end of the day. or burn them to cd and store in a cool dry place.
