| I have a very odd issue here. I normally have no issues with Point via Citrix but I do have one thing that I'm stumped on. I am setting up DocMagic online via Interfaces in Point. Right off that bat it won't work as you can see below C: Doesn't exist in Citrix
dmo.ini
[Interface]
OutputDataFile="c:\docmagic.dsi"
DocToLink=https://www.docmagic.com/webservices/login/dmonlinelogin.jsp?quicklaunch=true
hidevendor=0
So I set it up as s:\winpoint\docmagic.dsi (S: being the mapped drive for users own space for work folder).
Now the file creation is working perfect....now comes the URL you see above. When uesrs click on SEND DATA, it creates the file and opens IE on their Citrix connecion
The sites bombs out because of this:
http://%1%20https://www.docmagic.com/webservices/login/dmonlinelogin.jsp?quicklaunch=true
I have even tried changing the above URL to a www.tinyurl.com just to see if the URL was to big for some reason it wouldn't process. That didn't work. I searched the registry like mad to see if I can find those extra characters, I also ran REGMON and FILEMON to see how it was reading it....coming up with nothing.
This is doing this on all 3 Citrix boxes. My test citrix box works! So I export out the keys that process http and https and insert them into on my live boxes, no go.
I setup FireFox as the default browser to see if it would work and the site comes up fine. But not sure if DocMagic online actually works in Firefox or not...anyone know?
I'm stuck here. We are rolling out all our branches on PDS soon but I need to get this running by Monday.
Thanks,
PS: Using Point 5.2a |

| | Oh, also release notes, etc on the About menu also bomb out. Anything that uses IE to pull up the web. AND this doesn't happen in other applications that link to IE for a URL... |

| From anywhere in Point, click on Utilities > Web Browser. Browse to the path of your web browser. Click OK, and try to launch the browser again from somewhere such as release notes or from the DMO interface. This should fix it.

| Oh wow, I guess thats what happens when you don't know point very well! Man, that was too easy Okay so last question seems like this is a per user setting. What file does it store this path so I can make a mass change via a script.
Thanks I really appreciate your help |
