Same deal i think if some one could check their email from outside of the office.

The idea behind this kind of stuff is Calyx is a technology provider your a mortgage expert you should not have to think about when is it safe to email this without a password, or why is a password important to secure this data.  This should be your software's role. Considering it is a company that needs to be protected there are only two ways to do this have a system policy which an admin  sets or the software just requires it.  But the end result what you want to prove to a borrower if they ever ask or try to sue you, is that you made a good faith effort in protecting their information. It only takes one wrong key stroke and your open.  I get Annoyed logging into my computer at work each morning but its the same thing, we trade an annoyance for protection.

While I understand the need for the password and certainly approve of it myself... my Loan Officers and processors hate it...

That's great, they hate it so lets make their lives easier, oh wait until the moment a file accidentally goes outside the network, or you are hacked by some spyware program, then its no longer the loan officer or processor, its the entire company when they are facing a lawsuit.  This is truly one of those "greater good" concerns..

I'm sick and tired of hearing the loan officers and processors hate this or that, make it a policy they must follow and thats it.  If you don;t like it, there is the door!!

Also, I got an answer to my earlier post from live help. Thanks.

SYMPTOMS Opening a .pcf attachment generates an error: "unable to load pdd.dll" CAUSE Cache for Microsoft .Net Framework Assembly needs to be cleared RESOLUTION Go to the Control Panel Double click on Administrative Tools Double click on Microsoft .Net Framework Configuration From the left panel, click on Assembly Cache From the right panel, click on View list of Assemblies... Delete all C1.Win.. entries and delete all Winpoint entries Close .Net Configuration and try opening the attachment again

This works for me. Thanks.
