I am trying to open a PRS file in Point 5.5 in order to convert it to a borrower.  My primary data folder is on a network drive which I have mapped and labled the (Z) drive on my local workstation.  When attempting to convert the file, the selection box only pulls up one of the prospect files on that drive.  It won't see any of the other prospect files in that folder (I used Calyx Administrator to make the (Z) drive my Primary Data Folder.  No matter what I try, Point simply will not see any of the other files, and the selection to choose which data folder to use is grey-ed out.  There is no browse mechanism, like in older versions, so I am stuck with what Point is trying to see, but won't see.

Interestingly enough, I can browse to the file just fine from Point, then open it as a prospect.  But, the only way I can convert that I know of is to use the "From Prospect" dialog box.  Please help, we are stuck right now.

Added note:  I copied the PRS from the network drive and pasted it to the local (C) drive in the Primary Data folder.  Point still will not see the file when I open the convert mechanism.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance for your time.

Have you tried rebuilding the prospect file list? On the navigation panel, click on File, then select Rebuild List, choose the data folder to rebuild, select prospect and click Start. Does that help?
