I would like to put the winpoint.ini in another location other than C:\Windows. It could defined when launching winpoint.exe, such as winpoint.exe ini=C:\winpoint.ini.

I actually like the idea of the basic configuration file being in that application directory or the user directory but thanks for the suggestion I well Let Development know.

I like Jason's idea of specifying the winpoint.ini from the comand line. I've got multiple winpoint.ini files I switch among that match the various branches I manage. I switch among them by editing the names of the file and have contemplated scripting this action. But creating a shortcut that pointed to the right ini file would be short and sweet...
