I'm looking for a way to log the time, user, and report parameters whenever a users generates a report. We are using PDS exclusively so the users do not have direct access to the data folders. Does anyone know how the reporting interacts with the sql database? I was thinking there might be a way to capture the query sent to the PDS server and log it to an sql table. Any suggestions?

I am just wondering what is the concen with users generating reports? are you looking for suspisios behavior like an officer trying to steal all the companies contacts?

2 reasons

1. Suspicious activity. We have had multiple instances in which the reporting tools were used to steal information.

2. Needs analysis. By looking at the types of reports our loan officers and sales managers are creating we can get a better feel for what their needs are and/or pinpoint weaknesses in their sales analysis and marketing efforts.
